This week saw the successful launch of our multitouch table, developed in collaboration with
Studio Sophisti and Muziek Centrum Nederland.
The installation was devised to mark the four-day residency of the
Instant Composer's Pool at the Bimhuis
in Amsterdam, September 2009. Concert goers browse images and multimedia from a career spanning four decades.
Content was curated by Ditmer Weertman, from MCN's extensive archive. It was a pleasure to see long-time fans
of the ICP engage with the presentation, and a great performance by the vetarans of Dutch improvisation.
The table will also appear at the opening concert of the newly renovated hall in De Doelen, Rotterdam, with
a presentation of the works of Peter-Jan Wagemans.
